The Mayor of Swindon visited Torun in October together with two members of the Swindon Torun Group following an invitation from Torun, to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Swindon’s twinning with Torun.
The trio were invited on an all expenses trip by Torun’s town council which hosted a twinning festival, inviting a number of delegations from across Europe and beyond.
Photograph shows the presentation of a painting of Stonehenge by local artist Robin Woodford, given to officials on stage during the twinning festival.
